To Whom It May Concern:
Although our school is less than two years old, it is our mission to prepare all of our students to compete in a changing global community. We strive to provide a safe, inspiring and globally aware environment to our students so that they can acquire the best possible tools to compete and lead in the "global village." Therefore, we have invited Mr. Peter Ferrito to our school during the past two years to lead our Annual Leadership Academy.
During the three day workshops, Mr. Ferrito has helped our student-leaders — student council members, club officers, team captains, and band members — recognize their leadership potential, identify and apply time-tested leadership principles, and become motivated to lead through real-life examples and exercises. Mr. Ferrito engages our students in thought-provoking dialogues that lead to self discoveries and reflections. He causes everyone in the room to analyze concepts, ideas and behaviors with an "outside the box" approach that culminates in individual and team growth. Finally, Mr. Ferrito allows students to recognize the importance of team-building and the roles that each team-member must play to promote successful outcomes.
It is with great pleasure and confidence that I recommend Mr. Ferrito to schools across the nation that focus on promoting successful living through the acquisition of key skills necessary to compete in today's changing global community.
