Our leadership program is the foundation of our future. I am confident that this is the course of action that will motivate and stimulate excitement within the band. I wanted you to know how much I appreciate all of the work you have done to ignite this spark of energy that we so desperately need.
It is incredible how you reached the hearts and minds of our students and helped them to understand themselves better. Not only are they beginning to grasp self-awareness and confidence, they are learning to be sensitive to their peers' views and emotions as well.
We are looking forward to a very successful 1998-99 season, and be assured that you are a major contributor to that success. Once again thank you from myself, my staff, and the leaders of the Niles West Band Program.
