We were fortunate to be able to host Peter Ferrito in a leadership workshop in the Fall of 2002. It was a turning point for not only the student leaders, but for the band staff and the entire Wylie High School Band. Not only did Peter show us how to utilize our leaders, but he instilled a respect for what each member brings to the program. Peter was well-organized, disciplined, creative and engaged the students for the entire two-day workshop. The skills that Peter teaches are not only related to band. They are skills that are necessary to be successful in life.
I truly feel that the Ferrito Education two-day leadership workshop was the final part of the puzzle needed for the band to perform at the Texas UIL State Marching Contest. He took our "mental work" to a new level. Peter's ideas regarding leadership responsibility helped us deal with any and all problems. It is without reservation that I recommend Peter Ferrito and Ferrito Education for your leadership needs.
