This letter is in support of Mr. Peter Ferrito and the teambuilding and leadership workshop training that he provided at West Mesquite High School last spring while I served as principal. Mr. Ferrito previously led leadership training for specific high school groups, such as a fine arts or athletic group. My purpose was to build student leadership across all school programs and organizations in order to develop student leaders and role models for our entire campus.
Mr. Ferrito was most accommodating in working through our arrangements. He also provided questionnaires for our students and staff to complete prior to the event, which gave him an overview of student life at West Mesquite High School. Prior to his arrival, he studied the responses and data collected so as to exactly meet our needs.
I feel that Mr. Ferrito led our students to think, to care for others, to learn team work, and to develop as leaders. He provided leadership notebooks for them and led them in thought-provoking activities. They developed faith in their abilities to be leaders and he instilled in them the importance of school pride, which begins with them and their organizations.
Mr. Ferrito possesses an extraordinary ability and talent for working with both teenagers and adults. I recommend Peter Ferrito and Teens2Teams to any group for developing strength and unity within your organization, as well as for increasing the potential of individuals to emerge as leaders dedicated to a common purpose.
